Words everyone uses from day one but nobody explains.
- Academic calendar
- A schedule of semesters, sessions, and vacations.
- Academic integrity
- A principle that obliges students and researchers to do their own work, respect other people's intellectual property, do not copy, do not use cheat sheets and artificial intelligence, and do not resort to plagiarism.
- Academic mobility
- This is the transfer of students or teachers to another educational institution for a certain period of time for study, internship or research, after which they return to their university.
- An appeal
- Official statement by a student about disagreement with the exam results.
- Bachelor
- The degree is the first stage of higher education, which provides basic professional qualifications.
- Credit (ECTS)
- The unit of measurement for the amount of training load.
- Department, head of the Department
- A department that conducts specific disciplines.
- Doctoral studies
- Аre the third, highest level of education, focused on the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel.
- Dormitory
- Accommodation of students during their studies
- ECC
- Is a catalog of elective subjects from which the student selects subjects.
- Final control and final assessment
- Exam and total score.

- Magistracy

- Thesis (or graduation project)
- This is a final qualification work that a student performs in their final year to obtain a qualification or degree (bachelor's, specialist's, or Master's degree).
- Transcript
- Official record of all grades and credits. Ordered at room 110.
- EUMC
- Electronic educational-methodical complex — course materials in Platonus.
- Advisor
- The instructor who guides your group through the curriculum and signs your applications.
- SES
- State educational standard — the source of all program requirements.
- GPA
- Weighted average grade across all courses. Affects scholarships and grant transfers.
- AL
- Academic leave — up to two years, for health, family, or other circumstances.
